Bumped into Sunshine Barkery in Cabin John when my friend and I came off the C&O Canal trail to find a bite to eat. I saw their table set up and walked over and talked with some wonderful people. I knew our dog Freddie would love to try some biscuits, so I bought a bag to take home. Well, he liked them sooo much he insisted I buy some more - so I ordered them through the mail. They arrived the other day, along with a beautiful signed Thank You card. It made Freddie’s day and mine as well!

We started Sunshine Barkery with a mission to make really yummy dog treats for our dogs and to provide an opportunity for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) to come together, learn invaluable cooking skills, and to have fun running a business.
